You don’t always need an engineer to sort out problems with your appliances. In fact, by arming yourself with a little knowledge you may be able to fix small faults yourself. Not only does this mean that your appliance will be working a lot sooner, but you could also save yourself money in the process.

You may be familiar with that dismal feeling when you realise that you have paid out for something you could easily have put right yourself.
