So do we have the “X Factor”

We’ve been around a long time. In fact over 30 years. We have seen many of our competitor’s come and go. We are horrified to hear about the rogue traders that charge the earth for something simple as changing a light bulb. Sometimes repair charges can be such that you’ll be better off buying a new appliance. We understand this and advise accordingly. Our word of mouth referrals are based on the honest advice and the fair price we charge our customers.

We provide appliance repairs to the following:

  • Cooker Hobs
  • Hob Extractors
  • Rangecookers
  • Microwaves

We deal with brands such as Beamatic, Zunussi, Maytag, and many more.

Fault Finding Guide

You don’t always need an engineer to sort out problems with your appliances. In fact, by arming yourself with a little knowledge you may be able to fix small faults yourself. Not only does this mean that your appliance will be working a lot sooner, but you could also save yourself money in the process.

We have to charge for our services, which means that even if the problem is minor, you will still have to pay for the engineer’s time. You may be familiar with that dismal feeling when you realise that you have paid out for something you could easily have put right yourself. Customer satisfaction is important to us and we want to leave our customers feeling that they’ve paid for a valuable service. That’s why we’ve provided some tips to help you with basic repairs.

We’ve given straightforward advice to help you with the following:

Washing Machine Repairs Dishwasher Repairs
Fridge and Freezer Repairs Oven Repairs

You do not need any technical knowledge or experience to fix many appliance problems; all you need is a few minutes to carry out a few simple checks and then take the appropriate action. These include simple tasks such as: finding out if the appliance is receiving an electrical supply, checking for blocked drains, changing light bulbs or unblocking drainage pipes.

In many cases these actions will eradicate the problem, but if they don’t, at least you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you have done all you can. It will also help you to be able to explain the fault to our engineer when he calls.

One important thing to note is that you should always unplug the appliance before attempting any repairs. If you cannot access the socket then you should switch off the electricity at the mains. Additionally, if you are unsure what you are doing then you should ring us for advice or to book an engineer. Another word of caution is that if you ever smell gas in the home you should switch off the gas at the mains immediately and call out a qualified engineer.
